After a journey spanning a couple of years, I’m proud to share that I’ve earned the Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP)® certification from Project Management Institute.
PfMP is one of the most demanding certifications in the field — it isn’t something you prepare for in a few weeks. It took years of building real portfolio management experience, carefully structuring the application, and preparing for a rigorous, multi-panel review process. There were moments of doubt along the way, but the result made every bit of it worth it.
I couldn’t have reached this milestone without the mentorship of Anatolii Savin, whose guidance and support were invaluable throughout this journey. I’d also strongly recommend KnowledgeMap (https://knowledgemap.pm/) to anyone pursuing PfMP — their structured, practical approach made a real difference in getting me ready for the assessment.
This certification is as much a reflection of their support as it is of the work I put in myself. Grateful to everyone who stood by me on this multi-year path.
