The importance of the project manager’s role as an initiator, negotiator, listener, coach, working member, and facilitator is explored. You also differentiate between leadership and management in the context of project management and delve into the impact of emotional intelligence (EQ) on effective project leadership.
The task ‘Demonstrate an understanding of project roles and responsibilities’ includes the following enablers:
- Compare and contrast the roles and responsibilities of project managers and project sponsors.
