Panel Review

The panel review procedure commences after the audit is finalized (in case your application is selected) and your certification payment is received.

A group of dedicated volunteer PgMP-certified program managers will evaluate your professional experience based on the insights you’ve provided in the Program Management Experience Summaries within your PgMP application.

This assessment team comprises individuals from diverse geographical backgrounds who have been recognized as subject matter experts in program management through a rigorous selection process. They have also undergone training to impartially evaluate your responses to the Program Management Experience Summaries. To ensure objectivity, PMI guarantees that your identity will remain anonymous to the review panel.

The evaluation aims to confirm that you have independently overseen the integrated management of several interconnected component projects directed towards a shared organizational goal.

Should you not succeed in the panel review, a certification associate will get in touch to discuss your situation. Progressing to the examination phase requires passing this review.

Upon successfully completing the panel review, you will become eligible to undertake the examination (refer to the Examination Eligibility section in this handbook for more details). This entire process usually takes around 60 days to finalize.
