To complete the Construction Project Communications course, follow these steps:
- Visit the PMI Shop to purchase and complete the Construction Project Communications Course. Estimated time to complete: 6 to 12 hours.
- Test your knowledge to finalize your study of the material.
- Pass the micro-credential exam.
Upon completion, you will earn 6 PDUs and a certificate of completion.

1. Review Core Concepts.
Begin by revisiting key topics related to communication in construction projects.
Pay attention, before taking the test, you should know and understand:
- difference between Communication Strategy and Communication Plan;
- who are project stakeholders, types of stakeholder matrices, consequences of poor stakeholder management;
- how to implement «The Big Room», principles of Obeya, 9 Big Rooms Rules;
- key approach to Problem-Solving withing Obeya (PDCA, A3);
- conditions of satisfactions (CoS);
- commitment based management (CbM) – benefits, key concepts and frameworks, how to apply CbM to improve coordination;
- PMIS – key benefits and principles;
- COMPASS – how to use and implement.
2. Complete the Test.
Answer all questions to the best of your ability, applying the knowledge you’ve gained so far. Take your time to analyze scenarios and choose the most appropriate responses.

3. Review Your Results.
Once the test is complete, carefully review your results. Focus on understanding why certain answers were correct or incorrect to deepen your learning.
4. Share results with your Mentor.
Together with your Mentor identify areas for Improvement. Reflect on any gaps revealed by the test.
