Auchan is a French multinational retail group.

In 2014, an IT Department of Auchan Ukraine was faced with increased efforts to support systems. The first Auchan store in Ukraine was opened in 2008. The department was engaged in the development and implementation projects in the early years, but by 2014 much more time employees began to spend on support. Because of this, development projects were stopped.

To solve the problem in August 2014, department management underwent basic training in project management. They used the Knowledge Map to check which knowledge areas need more in-depth study.

Two more training workshops were organized on the results of testing – Integration & Scope Management in September 2014 and Schedule & Risk Management in June 2015.
