Now that’s something to share and be proud of – I’ve been certified as a Project Management Professional!
I’m still struggling a bit to believe it, but it seems hard work and persistence pulled it off. This journey hasn’t always been easy, probably quite the opposite is valid – lots of learning, analysis, and discussions with my peers. The learning path itself provided me with additional layers of perspective on everyday things I do as part of my job, and this realisation struck as evidence towards my embracing of the PMI standards and approaches.
At this instance, I’d like to share my gratitude to the people who guided and supported this achievement:
- Mentoring by Taras Fedoruk, PMP®, PgMP®, PMO-CP™ fueled this journey and gave me a solid foundation to build upon and achieve this outcome. The impact has been and is still lasting and perspective-changing. 😎
- KnowledgeMap – hundreds of questions later, hundreds of follow-ups with prep materials – and there we are, certified and happy. The service’s been instrumental and achieving PMP, and I can only recommend considering KnowledgeMap should you decide to embark on the same journey. ✍
- And one special nod to Viktoriia Honcharova, for inspiring this journey, whose leadership and guidance during our work together resulted in my decision to obtain this certification. 👏
What’s next? There are many great things to learn, and PMI provides excellent opportunities to grow as a professional and scaling of my expertise, coupled with the brand new CPMAI certification, seems like the next big thing for me. Stay tuned! 🤓
To anyone considering the PMP – it’s a challenge indeed, but well worth the effort. Stay focused, stay curious, and trust the process. 🙌
P.S.: and shoutout to Yuliia Menzheres, who went after the same goal together with me and deservedly earned it! 🎉
